I didn’t do Challenge #3. I was sort of busy with that whole having a baby thing. :)
Challenge #4 is to show what your lace could be used for if you bound it off right now where it is.
I have finished the first lattice section, and have moved into the main pattern. I’ve completed 2 repeats.

But what could I use it for at this point?
This is a definite challenge. If I had less completed, I think it’d be easier. But LL is rather squarish now, not too big, but not too small. It makes the creative options much more difficult to find.
But I think I found the perfect use.
Some people hang flags on their homes for the holidays/seasons. Some hang flags to let everyone know which sports teams or colleges they support. Many more hang up the good ol’ Red, White, and Blue. Which is what we used to have on our house, until a big wind blew it down last year (and we never got around to fixing the pole/anchor so it could be put back up).
But I have a new flag now. It lets all the neighbors know that a “crazy knitblogger lives here.”

Challenge #2 is to show some X-treme knitting.
Lacy Lattice Stole and I are SO X-treme.

See?
Yeah, that’s me, knitting on the Log Cabin Baby Blanket.
Where is Lacy Lattice Stole? Lounging around in the yarn chest. A reminder: the stole has a due date–October 28th is the wedding. I’d prefer to have it done by her bridal shower, which I assume will be in September at the latest.
Yeah. We are SO X-TREME that we’re not even working together. In fact, we haven’t worked together since I finished the first repeat of the first section. We’re letting all the other teams get past us.
We’ll just pass them by later. Yeah, baby.
