I host the Knit Alongs (and Crochet Alongs!) Website (http://knitalongs.xaviermusketeer.com), and this year, there are FAR FAR fewer knitalongs being sent to me to post!
It’s not just that they’re not being sent to me to add to the site that made me notice, but I haven’t read about any on blogs either.
So what is up?
Are they being started here on Ravelry instead of on blogs or Yahoo! Groups (and then not being posted on the Knit Alongs site)?
Is everyone still working on the 2007 Alongs instead of starting new ones?
Have there just not been any patterns worth alonging?
Is the heyday of the knitalong just over?

Sorry to my advertisers who need their ads put back up on the site, and for those who have requested new KALs be added lately. Something is wrong with the blog, and I can’t get in to update the posts or the site in general! I’ve opened a ticket with my webhost, so hopefully they can figure out what’s up quickly.
I think I may add Crochet-Alongs next year. Are there many Crochet-Alongs out there? I’ve seen a few come through with the KALs this year. Maybe I’m crazy for adding even more to the site! :)

New & Improved, now with an RSS feed! Just be sure to subscribe so that updates are displayed as new…otherwise you’ll never know when the list has been updated.
