Cthulhu took a break from his busy day at work and went for sushi.

Did you know he likes sushi?

The guys at the sushi shop didn’t know, either.

Doesn’t look like much of anything yet! Don’t worry Seth, the blue part is just there temporarily, it’ll be removed when the tentacles are added.

The construction definitely makes this an interesting knit.

Pattern: Double-Knot Stocking Cap

Size: 0-6 months (Will fit up to a 16″ head circumference)
Yarn: Any fingering-weight sock yarn
Needles: Size US2 (2.75mm), set of 5 DPNs (if 5 needles aren’t used, you will need 4 stitch markers)
Gauge: 7 sts/inch; Row gauge is not important
Cast on 88 stitches.
Join, being careful not to twist.
Knit even in stockinette until piece measures 5″ [...]

Double-knot Twin hat

Samantha “volunteered” to be my model. Even though the hat is meant for a much smaller noggin, it still fits her (so it should fit the twins all through the Winter and into Spring).
