Grumperina gives us her seaming tricks.

Adrian shares her thrumming technique.

Delana finally got a blog. I’ll warn you now though, she cranks out the knits (and I’m not talking dishcloths, here) faster than anyone else in the world. Seriously. Her blog may make you cry.

Jodi braids and casts-on Latvian-style.

I missed the last Pincushion Challenge, but maybe I’ll do the March/April theme? It’s Eats!

This is a great idea. I’m definitely looking into putting my blog into print.

I finished Twin Hat #1 last night…but forgot my camera this morning, so a picture will have to wait until tomorrow!

How cute are these little dolls? Get out your crochet hook! And look, an appropriate use for novelty yarn for the hair.

Jody provides some info on cast-ons and bind-offs for socks: Links to turkish cast-on and Magic cast-on in this post and Tubular bind-off instructions, both for knitting toe-up socks.

Samantha shows off the blanket we helped make!

And speaking of blankets made of squares, Here’s a really pretty way to join them.

Does everyone else hate it when Typepad pukes every couple of months and everyone’s blogs show 10+ unread posts in Bloglines? Bah. I need to go through and make sure I have them set to not show updated posts as new.

Oh, and those groceries I bought yesterday? Still in the bags sitting on the counters. Maybe tonight they’ll get put away.

I’ve started listening to Yahoo! Music at work lately. The radio station I usually listen to is too repetitive (and I don’t like a lot of the current music anyway). Plus, wearing headphones helps block out some of my noisy coworkers!

Want to know what I listen to? You can listen to my station too!

Anyone else out there use Yahoo! Music? Let me know so I can check out your station!

Julie has moved her blog, she’s now back online at An Adequate Knitter! Be sure to update your Bloglines.

A coworker of mine has a farm, and they make their own soaps, lotions, and other things. Visit them at Weber Farms. I love love love the Cucumber Goats Milk lotion–It absorbs fast, isn’t the least bit greasy, and the smell is wonderful. I’ve also got one of their lotion bars. I keep it in my knitting bag (no chance of it leaking all over my yarn!), it’s perfect for those random little rough spots that your yarn can get caught on. And I really like their lip balm too!
I have to remember to send Madalyn the lip balm I bought her soon!

Visit Kristin to learn how to hand-sew a zipper into your hand-knit sweater.

Cara is hosting the next Yarnival. Get your submissions in now!

Apparently Lion Brand Cotton-Ease is coming back!

Another cute Dishcloth pattern, found @ Lisa’s blog.

I am dying to make some of these. I’m thinking for my Thanksgiving Centerpieces! Only problem is the leaves change too early, and even if I made them ahead of time, they’d probably be all brown & yucky by TG. Maybe I could use fake leaves….

Weasley Sweater Pattern, for the HP fan(s) in your life. If I can get Emily back into HP again, she might get one of these soon (okay, “soon” means in the next couple of years :) ).

A spinning book I might check out, found on The Daily Purl.

More yarn wallpaper images, from Hello Yarn. And isn’t lining mittens with cashmere a GREAT idea?

Cute dishcloth pattern, found on Knitting In Limbo.

And the Garterlac dishcloth, which I keep remembering I want to knit, but haven’t saved the pattern anywhere yet.

Martha has a pattern for a roll-up pencil case. But we all know what it’d be better used for. :) And for organizing those knitting magazines? Try this.

I’m thinking of adding a new section to the 2006 Knit-Alongs List–for the swaps/exchanges. I’ve found a few that are starting up soon to add, if you know of others, please let me know.
I’m also planning to offer advertising on the Knit-Alongs list page (it gets so many hits each month, it just makes [...]

I’ve been saving a bunch of posts in Bloglines to share here, but haven’t had a chance to actually organize it all! I can’t imagine why. :)
So here goes. Some of these are very old posts (from as far back as May!).
First up, SouleMama shared a “corner of her home” back in May. [...]

4 more days until Samantha’s eviction! The nurse called yesterday and told me they moved my surgery time up 2 hours. Which means we lose 2 hours of sleeping-in time. :( But, that’s 2 more hours of recovery time too. So it’s good in one way, bad in another. At any rate, there [...]
