Madalyn’s gift to me this season was all Peanuts-themed. The soundtrack to A Charlie Brown Christmas (which I didn’t own yet, can you believe that?) and a book I didn’t even know existed. It has all of the stories that they have turned into cartoons and show on TV. The Great Pumpkin, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. Perfecto! The girls will love reading them.

Thanks, Madalyn!

One wine glass (the cheap ones I just bought and don’t care about).

One family member’s memory – he got into the gin and doesn’t remember anything past about 12:30 pm.

That’s it! It was a mild year. I managed to not cut myself or burn myself again. No one else was injured (although there was a band-aid needed for a dog scratch).

And my new favorite kitchen tool is my electric knife.

All of the fall decorations have been put away, and all of the Christmas decorations are out. Just a few more ornaments left to hang on the tree, and one strand of replacement lights to purchase. And a few more new strands to buy for outside.

I also want to get more candles for in the windows on the back of the house (7), and an advent wreath.

And I found out tonight that I somehow paid my credit card bill twice last month (within a few days of each other – has anyone seen my brain?), so I have a huge credit now. Christmas will be free this year! :)
