It’s Garden Time!

I am so psyched up for Spring!

Last Fall, I planted a bunch of flower bulbs in my front flower beds. And they have all sprouted!

First the crocuses popped up.

Next, the daffodils.

Then the white tulips.

And then the pink ones.

There are purple tulips left to bloom yet. But I think they should be showing their faces later this week.

There will be a lot of gardening blogging and photos this summer. We’re planting a vegetable garden in the back yard (which will soon be covered in GRASS! We’re getting sod this week – if it doesn’t rain too much more). I’ve already bought a bunch of seeds and some plants. The plants are anxious to get into the ground – and I am anxious too!

Follow it all on Folia. It’s a wonderful FREE site, sort of like Ravelry (and just as addicting), but for gardening. You can add in all of your gardens and plants (flowers, vegetables, houseplants, trees, bushes, whatever!), and track their growth progress. There are forums for questions and chatter, and you can swap seeds and plants with others. I just love it! If you join, be sure to add me as a gardening buddy (XUMusketeer) so I can see all of your gardens too! And if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment here or send me a message on Folia.
