Deals and Savings

I’ve always used coupons. About a year ago, I started REALLY using coupons. You know those news segments you see from time to time talking about someone who bought $300 worth of groceries for only $10? Yeah, I’m one of them now (but not quite that extreme!).

Before I never would have had the time to match everything up, track down the best price for an item, and then find the coupons to go with it. Now, there are bloggers who do most of the work for me! They post the match-ups, and links to the printable coupons.

And it is really saving us money.

I also do other things to earn cash and giftcards (to use for Christmas gifts and other treats for myself!). They are all listed below. Disclaimer: I have verified that all of these are legit and have personally received rewards from them. Some of the links below include a small referral bonus for me if you sign up. I would really appreciate it if you did!

Ebates
Ebates gives you cash back on your online purchases. If you remember to use it each time you order, the cash can add up quickly!

Swagbucks
Swagbucks is a search engine. Use it to search, and every so often, you win a swagbuck! There are also swagcodes (enter them on the site to earn a swagbuck or more) frequently posted on the SwagBlog, Facebook, and Twitter. You can turn in SwagBucks for prizes or Amazon.com credit. They usually give you a few SwagBucks just for signing up too!

YouData
YouData provides user-specific advertising. Click on the ads, and they pay you for viewing them! They pay directly to your PayPal account every Friday. Even if it’s only a few cents each week, it adds up over time!

MyPoints
I’ve been a member of MyPoints since something like 2001. I usually just click on the emails and the little polls on the site, and sometimes qualify for a survey. And I always earn enough points to claim a giftcard at least once, usually twice a year.

BzzAgent
BzzAgent is a Word-of-Mouth marketing company. If you are chosen for a campaign, they will usually send you full-size samples of products, with coupons and more samples to give to your friends and family. Then you just have to report back with your WOM efforts, and you earn MyPoints (see above). Free stuff and MyPoints! My mom even loves getting my free samples – she’s always asking me if I have anything new for her to try!

Surveys
Gongos Research
This is one of my favorite survey companies. Why? Because they reward you with a substantial amount of Amazon.com credit! You start out with $5 for the first couple of reward levels, then it goes up to $15. If you get picked for one of their special projects, you can earn a lot fairly quickly. I’ve even won one of their sweepstakes drawings (for an additional $15 in my case, but it can be higher!).

E-Poll
I’ve claimed Target giftcards from E-Poll. They don’t send as many surveys as the other companies, but the points add up fairly quickly.

Opinion Outpost
I seem to have the best luck with catching their surveys before they expire. They just added an Amazon.com credit option to the rewards, or you can request a check. I’ve done both.

Mysurvey.com
They have actual items to turn your points in for instead of giftcards or cash. I have yet to turn in my points (saving up for something good!).

Zoompanel
I tend to like their survey format the best. They’re usually not too long, and their points add up fast. You usually get 5 points even if you don’t qualify, and they send out a lot of surveys.

American Consumer Opinion/Anne Parks
They don’t send out too many surveys, but I usually qualify for the ones that they do. I have received checks from them for individual surveys. Now they save your reward $ until you request a cash-out.

So, sign up for any or all of the above and earn some cash or giftcards yourself!
