The house is clean (except the kitchen–but no sense cleaning that when I’m just going to mess it up again!).
Tomorrow I will:
–Do the last bit of shopping needed to pick up the things I couldn’t get last week.
–Set the tables.
–Roast the turkeys.
–Set out the bread to get dry overnight.
I think that’s it!
I just might have some relaxation time to knit tomorrow night.
That is, if this cold I got yesterday hasn’t knocked me completely out by the evening as it has been.

I only have a few people to feed this year, but there’s the same number of dishes to prepare. With your busy week, I hope this is an enjoyable, relaxing holiday with not too much stress. (I always stress out during kitchen clean-up, given that the meal that I prepared for the previous two days only lasts about 6 minutes. Sheesh.)
My bread is dried, crumbed, and in the freezer awaiting stuffing-making this afternoon. Pie crusts are made and in the freezer, as is the apple filling for two of them. Sponge for hard-roll dough is risen. That’s as far as I got.
Have a great holiday!
Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you have a wonderful holiday. I would love another long weekend, however I won’t have one for awhile. C’est la vie. :)
