July Dishcloth: Samantha speaks!

Alas, it is SO taxing to sleep all day.

But, it gives my mommy time to do things like finish the July dishcloth!

A couple of little mistakes, but Mommy says, “It’s just a dishcloth!”

This one really stumped her, it was knit upside-down! It wasn’t until yesterday when she finished the tail that she realized it was a fishy thing of some sort–turns out it’s a dolphin. Aren’t the waves on the dishcloth neat? Mommy says that’s a “feather and fan” pattern used to make them. She did that on my Great-Grandma’s shawl she made her for Christmas.

Okay, that’s enough for me, I need to go back to sleep.

Hi Samantha and enjoy your nap. When you wakeup and check your messages make sure to tell Mommy how nice that dishcloth is.

Tell Mommy how sweet you are too.

Ah, the good ol’ days when sleep was short and the wonders of childhood sweet.
Don’t you just love this cloth!? I managed to get one done, too.
