My Trekking sock doesn’t need to be frogged and restarted after all!
I had tried it on last week and determined that it wasn’t going to fit over my heel (darn high arches). So I was going to rip and start over with 4 more stitches (60 instead of 56).
But I knew that the math was correct…the “practice” socks I did before were done on about 56 stitches. The gauge was the same. And I don’t want to run the risk of a too-loose sock anyway.
So I tried it on again. But this time I actually took it off the needles.
It is tight, but not too tight, and it does pull on over my heel.
Yay. No ripping. And I still have my easy, don’t have to pay attention to it, portable knitting project for the times when I can’t work on the Lacy Lattice Stole.

Hooray!! :)
Wooo-hooo! Good news!
Nothing worse than having to rip. Glad it worked out!
